A plaster model was made by an artist and scanned on a turning lathe and reproduced with CARSO Lathe

francesco ciardiello

The angle was reproduced in white marble. First cut was with a saw-blade

A mirror scan was made in CARSO/lathe and cut. Finally details was carved by hand by a skilled stone mason.

And finally the angles was mounted on the church alter.

Another job done by francesco ciardiello using CARSO/Gold on a 3-axis CNC machine

and here a capitel made also with CARSO Lathe
