We deliver precision measurements for:
• coatings a on a wide range of substrates, including: tapes, films, foils, nonwovens, paper
• extrusion coating & lamination processes: aseptic liquid packaging, flexible packaging
• impregnation lines: prepreg, tow preg, and other composites

Measurements include: coat weight (GSM), basis weight (GSM), moisture (%) and thickness (μm) – critical control parameters for process optimization.

Our technology includes:
 Scanning frames: designed and built for maximum uptime with minimum maintenance.
Our versatile scanners can be applied in a wide range of coaters, even compact coating lines (<500mm). We can also measure products where a vertical web pass-line is required.
 Sensors: engineered for precision, speed and robustness, our self-checking basis weight sensors use x-ray and other non-nucleonic technologies, thus avoiding the challenges and costs of nuclear solutions such as beta and gamma gauges.
 HMIs: intuitive operator interfaces provide access to advanced data, profile graphics (including heat maps) for total basis weight or net coat weight. Specialized software for handling intermittent or striped slot-die coating.
 Controls: fast and stable coating control backed by intelligent algorithms and robust measurements.
